ALL OUT WHITE IN AUTUM

I know its a bit too soon to be featuring the colour white on my blog, but, I love it too much to resist. We all have to bend the rules sometimes.

The colour white, especially white on white is usually worn at the beginning of summer. It is a delicate, pure colour and refreshingly new take on fashion as we escape the colours that we love so much.

It mat seem effortless to wear an all white outfit, but I can assure you it takes just as much thought and effort, if not more. Imagine an all white outfit with a pop of colour just to warm things up this winter. Statement items are a must when wearing something simple, and even then you need to know how to accessorise accordingly. Shoes or a neck piece for me are the simplest way to go when choosing a statement item. For those of you who know how to play with texture and layers I suggest you go ALL OUT WHITE!

We all love those all white parties that are popular in summer, don’t we. And you can never start too early to plan for that summer look to go with your renewed summer body.

So, I guess autumn is as good a time as any to dabble on some cool summer fashion. The cool thing about going all white is you can dress for just about any season, whether it be cool or warm.

Take a look at these looks and tell me which one you fancy.

Dashiki Trend

Dashikis are a west African traditional outfit that seems to have taken over the world by storm. You can find many styles and designs of this beautiful African print.

I remember when I was growing up as a little girl in South Africa, legendary groups like Lady Smith Black Mambazo and Soul Brothers wore dashikis.

Like all fashion trends this one has found its way back again and now on a world stage.

You can rock the dashiki in just about any design, let your imagination guide you.

Here is some inspiration to get you started.

Use Coca-cola Coke To Solve Everyday Problems

Coca cola coke is one of the most famous and loved brands there is globally. They have one of the coolest adverts I’ve ever seen on television, just when you think they cannot possibly top the last ad you find yourself hooked on their newest jingle.

As loved as the brand is it is also said to be addictive. Over the years I have heard many alternative uses for coke although useful they are alarming.
Here are a few tricks people claim coke can do:
– Remove rust
– Cleans old coins
– Fades dye on hair
– When added to a moisturiser, it leaves your skin glowing
– For the #naturalsisters out there it enhances your curl pattern when you put it on for a few minutes then wash it off
– It can be used as a drain and toilet cleaner.
– It removes stains when used in the washing machine with detergent

– Removes oil stains
– The coolest one I checked out on YouTube is the diet coke and mentos trick. It creates a fountain of coke, quite impressive to watch.
– I have even heard that coke can stop a runny tummy and put an end to flue when boiled.

There is a number of uses you can find on the net non of which is cokes intended use. I personally prefer to drink it on a hot summers day, there is nothing more refreshing.
This brings me to question whether coke is safe to consume over a long period of time.

Have you used coke to treat some of life’s problems either then your thirst?
